The story
A newer band with a long musical history.
Junior and the Jukes may be a newer name, but the musicians are anything but new to the stage. The trio draws on lifetimes of performing blues, roots music, rock, soul and original music in clubs, theaters, festivals and concert settings.
Guitarist and vocalist Junior Klegseth previously founded and led the Los Angeles-based RedHot Blues, which toured for years and appeared at venues and events including the Monterey Blues Festival, House of Blues and B.B. King’s. Junior and the Jukes brings that same commitment to every performance: strong songs, deep groove and a show that feels alive rather than routine.

A seasoned drummer, percussionist and vocalist whose career began in New York and continued through influential Bay Area projects before bringing her musical range to Minnesota.
